We understand the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19) has disrupted your life in many ways. During uncertain times like these, fraudsters use the situation to try to take advantage of you. We want you to know that we are here to help protect you and your account(s).

What Cornhusker Bank will do to continue to fight fraud:

We are remaining diligent with our efforts to combat fraud. We will continue to monitor your account(s) and notify you of any irregular activity. We will take extra care when performing transactions, and we will not disclose your confidential information.

Please make sure we have all your current contact information, including your phone number, address and email. This ensures we are able to reach you with important information regarding your account(s).

What You can do to fight fraud:

Exercise caution while you're navigating emails, social media and online news in order to help keep your information safe. Here are a few best practices to keep in mind:

  • Look for key indicators of scam emails: generic greetings, spelling and grammar mistakes, demands for immediate action, or use of threats.
  • Never click links or open attachments that you were not expecting or are from unfamiliar senders.
  • Beware of any online request for personal or sensitive information.
  • Go directly to reliable sources for Coronavirus (COVID-19) information including the Centers for Disease Control and World Health Organization.

Temporary Changes to Lobby Services

Cornhusker Bank continues to monitor the situation in our community in an effort to help keep customers and employees safe and healthy. In order to help limit exposure to the Coronavirus (COVID-19), we’re taking appropriate steps in consideration of Federal and State leadership’s recommendations to protect our community’s welfare, while remaining open and available to handle our community’s banking needs:

Beginning on Friday, March 20, 2020, all branches will be closing their lobbies and offering services in drive-thrus only. Services will be expanded through the drive-thrus in order to assist customers. In-person meetings and access to your safe deposit boxes can be arranged by appointment.
